Technical Totes

Our security connections with cellular telephony and IT specialists have clarified a need in the market for purpose made, rugged and secure technical tote boxes, manufactured to specification. One we created recently for a cellular system operator to carry about £30,000 worth of technical equipment. The specification was to enable the contents to be hauled up historic towers in city centers in complete safety and security to refurbish transmitters and masts.

The pictured tote has a bespoke foam liner arrangement, accepting and protecting the technical components from vibration and impact (the box and contents had to survive a drop test of one metre). A polycarbonate window allows viewing to ensure a complete kit is packed in the tote. The multi-colour fascia panels are to differentiate these boxes and make them stand out in a room full of technical cases for easy identification. A polypropylene wallet is riveted to the front fascia panel to hold connection and technical instructions.

The latches have security eyelets that can be sealed using Unisto Padlock 3, Padlock 4 or Targo seals depending on the level of security required.
